Who's Who
Choral Director
Chris Hale is Grade 8 trained singer and has studied choral conducting to an advanced level. She has worked with community choirs for over 25 years and is committed to bringing out the best in singers, believing that everyone can sing unless medical problems prevent it.
She currently conducts five choirs in the Staffordshire/Cheshire area, performs with Geraldine (accompanist) as part of a cabaret duo (G & C), is a singing leader for HF Holidays and tutors choirs and conducting students for Sing for Pleasure. Accompanist
Geraldine Luckhurst is a talented pianist who has worked with many choral societies in the area. She has a great sense of humour, can rock and roll, jazz it up, and boogie the night away as well as provide beautiful accompaniments to our more gentle musical items. She is an asset to our group!
Choir Assistant
Annie Williams assists with all sorts of choir tasks, from sorting out the sound system at concerts and organising chairs, social meals out, meeting and greeting new members to generally keeping an eye on everything. She is also doing some basic conducting training and will take warm ups or teach a simple round or part song from time to time.
