VACANCIES AND CONTACT

It is important that we keep the group well balanced in terms of voices - currently we have vacancies for an alto and a tenor. Ideally you need to be able to read music or be able to rehearse on your own so that you are ready to sing in the workshop where we can troubleshoot and add dynamics and final touches.

We sing for the joy of singing, and whilst we do not aim for regular performances, we made our debut on Saturday 11 July at St Mary's Church Nantwich when we took a spot in a massed community choirs and brass band concert. These workshops are to explore the music from the 1920s to date in a cappella style (although there may be occasions where we want to try something accompanied). We do not sing madrigals, masses, motets or Victorian part songs.
