The first workshop with 20 people and the first Christmas concert
In June 2018 we reunited with the Cheshire Constabulary Brass Band and Drum Corps to produce a concert called "Encore" - revisiting popular pieces of music which we have heard in places other than the original recording! Nessun Dorma for the World Cup, Come Fly with Me for various adverts ..... even Bohemian Rhapsody was used by a lager company! We combined with Simple Harmony choir to produce a big sound of over 90 voices and after all costs were covered, we even managed to donate £300 to the charities supported by the Mayor of Nantwich. We had a most enjoyable day attending a Community Choirs Showcase in Nuneaton on 1 April 2017 - this was non competitive, was organised by Sing for Pleasure, and showcased seventeen choirs from around the region. We had an amazing day and sang a jazzy Blue Skies, a lovely slow Gershwin number and a rousing African song. What an amazing experience!
