Chris Hale - Choral Director
Geraldine Luckhurst - Accompanist
Chris has been working with community choirs for over 25 years, believes that everyone can sing, providing there are no medical restrictions, and is committed to encouraging people to make the best use of their voices. Developmental opportunities are provided for the choir members to progress. She is a grade 8 trained singer, has studied conducting to an advanced level, and has also tutored conducting students for the national organisation Sing for Pleasure. She now runs five choirs in the area, has recently been appointed a singing leader with HF Holidays, and works with Geraldine as part of a cabaret duo G & C
We are very fortunate to have Geraldine as our accompanist. She is a talented pianist and has a great sense of humour. She happily adjusts her style to whatever we want her to do and can "rock and roll" and "swing" as well as all the complicated classical stuff. She is a valued member of our group and has accompanied many other local choral groups including the Holmes Chapel Singers.
