Singers with Some Choral Experience

You enjoy singing

You may have sung with other choirs in the past

You may not be a good music reader but you can pick up a melody and hold on to it.

You are happy with the way you sing but may want to improve on your technique

You might want a challenge with different repertoire, e.g. the syncopated rhythms of popular, jazz, swing, African etc.

You are not a complete beginner and you can cope singing in a larger group

What you can do:

You can have a voice assessment with Chris Hale if you feel you need to identify your voice range or improve your technique

You can attend any of the choir development workshops offered through Voicefinders throughout the year

You can go on a residential singing summer school or singing activity holiday.

You can join a choir. Have a look at Simply Allsorts, Hough WI Choir and Dolly Mixture
