This was sung by Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Yolanda Adams and is the most gorgeous piece of music, well loved by choir and audience alike. This version has slightly adapted lyrics and is paired with the hymn Lead Us Lord. It can be used at any time of year but I used it aas part of our Christmas concert.

Written in F major, moving to G major, this is very do-able, highest note for sopranos is a top E and it lends itself to exploring different dynamics. Highly recommended.

This is a really jolly piece and can be sung a cappella or with piano accompaniment. Written in 6/8 time key C major moving up to D major at the end.  A very achievable piece and highest note for sops is a D. The men get to sing a few fa la la la's madrigal style but this is such a joy to sing!

This is a really lovely arrangement with some very "jewish" sounding harmonies, but would suit an intermediate choir rather than beginners. My choir loved singing it and therefore worked hard to overcome the tricky bits but the end result was magical! We sang partly in Spanish and partly in English so that it wasn't too daunting. There is also a "ripply" bit of piano playing in it to portray a waterfall, so your accompanist needs to be able to cope too.

Highly recommended but NOT for beginners!

I used this as an encore for our Christmas concert as I had also featured a children's choir and wanted them to take part in a piece at the end. This starts very simply with the children (or soprano semi chorus) and gradually builds with the same theme "Ring Christmas bells" going on above the men singing "Angels we have heard on high". Yes, that is the American version of Angels from the Realms of Glory but I didn't bother to change the words to the English ones!

Key E flat major changing to F major and G major. Highest note for sops is an optional top G  and for the men, it is D above middle C. About eight bars of tricky timing but nothing that cannot be overcome. Enjoyable piece! Children coped easily.
