Lovely old classic from 1953 - this arrangement from 1986 so probably out of print by now. I only have 8 copies of this but would suit a small group of intermediate standard. Lots of accidentals in this piece and it moves from 4/4 to a Bluesy 12/8 section so a beginner choir might struggle with this. Sounds lovely though! Not too high for anyone. Sops highest note is E and tenors a D above middle C.

Another one for an intermediate choir with two key changes and some syncopated rhythms. A beginner choir might cope it they take their time learning it. A very powerful piece and unfortunately I haven't tried and tested this with my choirs as after I bought it, the group suddenly doubled in size and there was not an opportunity to use it. I am happy to post a perusal copy if you wish or listen to it here..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlSzZHmLMhc

Well known upbeat marching number from The Music Man - this arrangement is most likely out of print now. Parts double up (or are in full unison) in many places with harmony thrown in here and there. Change of key part way through with men singing the tune to "buh buh buh" and ladies humming above but easy to adjust to suit your choir. In fact, you could probably teach this either by rote, or give out the words only.
A straightforward Christmas piece suitable for a church service as well as concert. Sopranos divide into thirds on an easy Alleluia mid way through the piece. Parts double up on occasions making this a fairly quick to learn piece.
Definitely achievable by intermediate choirs in a couple of sessions. Beginner singers might take a little longer but not stressful. Nothing higher than a D for sops and tenors. Ideal for a small group.
