Lovely selection of swing numbers which can be sung alone or as a medley. Some are easier than others and occasionally the harmonies split into 5 or 6 with altos and basses splitting. I have used this with different choirs and managed to adapt it each time to suit the voices I have to work with. Chatanooga is fast and exhilarating but a really good sing and the whole thing is a crowd pleaser. Not suitable for beginner choirs.

Oh what a gorgeous arrangement! Opens with the Tenors singing the tune and the rest "mm"-ing and then the whole chorus is in full harmony on Do I look alright?....... However this is really not suitable for a beginner choir. Even my intermediate group found it tricky in places and I had to adjust in some places to make it achievable for them. There was no SAB version available when I bought it but my singers loved it and worked hard on it as a result. I added in solos in places to get around the bits that were too difficult to learn in a short space of time but in future we would have a go at learning the whole thing. So worthwhile. Most SATB choirs would cope easily with this but I have a lot of non music readers so need to take things more steadily. G  major all the way through. Go for it!

Beautiful arrangement of this lovely classic. Key D major changing to F major in middle section. Very achievable and no really high notes - fleeting top F for sops. This went down very well as a festival piece for one of my groups. Recommended.

In 9/8 time a lovely celtic carol from the shepherds point of view. Described as a spirited piece with a Celtic flavour and can be accompanied by keyboard alone or with recorder and violin added. Separate orchestral parts available to purchase from sheetmusicplus.com. We are singing this for the first time this Christmas and therefore it will not be available for hire until January 2015.
